Director of Customer Happiness

This is a key position with BIG responsibilities. As the Director of Customer Happiness you will be responsible for all member communications at the Vancouver Rolla Skate Club and for our growing Virtual Members around the world. You will often be the first person potential customers talk to (via email) and the person that greets them at the door of the Club for their first lesson. You must be patient and helpful but also able to communicate policies clearly and concisely. Previous customer/community service experience is a must.

Start date: May 19, 2021

Hours: Either one full time position (40 hrs/week) or two part time positions (20 hrs/week). On site front desk at Rolla Skate Club Vancouver 2183 West 45th Ave, Kerrisdale  Wednesday&Thursday 4.30pm to 10pm – Saturdays & Sundays 9.30am to 5.30pm. Online customer service and project work  Wednesday/Thursday noon to 3pm and Friday 9am to 5pm working from home (actual hours can be flexible within these days).

Pay: $17/hour – 40 hours per week

Key Skills: Comfortable using online software such as G Suite, Zoom and Slack. Excellent written English. Able to adapt and thrive in a fast moving and often changing environment. Highly self motivated and goal oriented while working from home. Must have own computer for virtual work. You do not need to rollerskate to apply for this position… but you’ll probably end up rollerskating if you work here!

Rolla Skate Truck Driver

Clover needs to hit the road! So we are looking for someone that can help her keep her engine running and battery charged up 🙂

Mondays – pick up the truck from 2183 West 45th Ave and drive her over to The Shipyards in North Vancouver for 5.45pm (class starts at 6pm). Drive her back after classes end at 8.15pm. Starting May 3rd, 2021.

You’ll get a spot reserved for you in both of the classes at the Shipyards each week, a Rolla2 membership to use at the Kerrisdale location and staff discounts off Rolla merch.
