Adults (over 14+ years) – If you are new to rollerskating or starting up after a long absence we recommend starting with our Intro to Rollerskating class.  This semi-private class (max 10 skaters) covers all the basics with one-on-one coach support so you can get rolling safely. The class price includes rollerskate and protective gear rental if you need it (or you’re welcome to bring your own!)  Click the class in the calendar above to register or GET IN TOUCH if you have questions.  Once you’ve completed an Intro class feel free to drop into any of our Signature Classes (more info below).  Not quite ready to put on 8 wheels?  Check out our Ready to Rolla off-skates class to start building those muscles and balance. 

 

*NEW* Kids & Teens (6-17yrs) – We now offer 12-week Rollerskating Program for kids ages 6 to 17yrs.  Our Rolla Kids and Rolla Teens program starts September 22nd and runs every Sunday and Wednesday – pick which day you want to register for. Upcoming Rolla Workshops

Rollerskating 101*Saturday 1.30pm-3pm starting September 21 SOLD OUT* –  This 6-week rollerskating workshop will help you go from zero to rollerskating hero! All in a safe and supportive adult environment.  Whether you’re interested in outdoor cruising, roller dance or hitting the skate park – this class will give you all the fundamentals you need to get you started on your eight wheeled journey! No experience necessary.  Rollerskate and protective gear rental available. This class is open to everyone over the age of 14 who is Ready to Roll!  Next round starts November 16 – email hello@rollaskateclub.com to get on the waitlist. 

 

Roller Derby Bootcamp*Tuesday 7.15pm-8.45pm starting September 17* –  Want to try roller derby? This 12 week bootcamp will teach you how to rollerskate derby style and show you how to play this fun and crazy game on eight wheels! No prior skating experience is necessary – we’ll take you from beginner to BAD-ASS!  This workshop is taught by two internationally recognized coaches with 10+ years of on-track experience. Rolla Signature Classes

** Rolla (All Levels) –  Come get your Rolla on!  This fun and friendly class will teach you rollerskating skills, tricks and even some dance moves.  This all-levels class is open to everyone 14+ years and is constantly changing – so there’s always a new challenge!   Click the class in the calendar above to register or purchase a Rolla Membership HERE Rollerskate rental available. ** Rolla Workout –  Get fit and have some F*cking Fun! Our signature on-skates Rolla fitness class is inspired by the kick-ass sport of women’s rollerderby but is tailored for all levels of rollerskating skills.* You’ll leave this class feeling strong, powerful and ready to Roll Deep. (*must be able to rollerskate forwards, turn around & stop confidently.) This class is only open to women and non-binary folks who are over the age of 14, rollerskate and gear rental is available. ** Derby Skills Club – One hot hour of Rolla Derby skills! Blocking, jamming, teamwork, footwork, game play – always something different to work on. Levels are provided to suit different skating abilities and contact levels, to keep everyone safe and having fun. ** We recommend either previous roller derby experience, or attending at least 4 Rolla Workout sessions before attending this class.  Click on the calendar above to register!

 

** Ready to Rolla – This off-skate fitness class is designed to help skaters of all levels to build the strength needed to feel more confident on wheels! Coach Booty Quake from Roller Derby Athletics has trained thousands of skaters to be their best on 8 wheels, by training smarter in their socks 🙂 This is *not* a cardio/conditioning class – you’ll work hard and break a sweat, but you won’t be doing aerobics. Appropriate challenges provided for any fitness / skating level.

 

So how do I choose which class to attend? The great thing is you don’t have to!  We offer drop in options for all of our classes (excluding progressives and kids/teens) and if you purchase a monthly membership or multi-class pass it’s valid for all (including Intro to RollerSkating) so you can mix and match. The Rolla and Rolla Workout class format builds upon your existing skills and introduces new ones at each session so you can learn at your own pace – but there’s always a new challenge!
